Mid afternoon March
Watching you
Feed the geese at lakeside
No ducklings this time
Only more geese
here
Sunset
the clouds full of water wishes
pull in view
Sitting next to
You as the twlight fades
it clears
Avid as two birds
Playing G.I Joe
by evening
Vacant garage room
A snake
Slinks into the drain
All night long
Two barking dogs
At something in the dark
Lock and load to check out
Something in the dark-
The skinny hunter boy waits
After a shower
Amid the clumped clothes
The hunter packs for meeting
Walk in faster
Out of rain-
Phone speaker glitches
Daybreak,
too bright to be awake
too dead inside
Shadowing your steps
An angel stops
When lightning claps
Compost layered
By lamplight
Saturday night in May
Sore soles and red toes blister
And hurt
From creeping in the sun
Phone vibrates
Dreaming in his room
He is really awake
